Our Louisiana Blend mixes light and dark roast Brazil and roasted chicory root for the nostalgic taste of the South. The tradition of adding chicory to coffee comes from the French who, in poorer times, wanted to stretch out their coffee supply and couldn't think of a better filler; And neither can we.

About Our Coffee
Coffee Masters' coffee blends are two or more single origin coffees, sometimes roasted at different levels, blended together. This creates a unique and exciting coffee taste that would not be naturally found in the beans alone.
Immediately after roasting, the coffee is packaged into 5 lb nitrogen-flushed bags. This process forces nitrogen into the package, replacing the oxygen, that would otherwise quickly age the coffee. The nitrogen preserves the wonderful flavor characteristics of fresh-roasted coffee. Coffee Masters also utilizes "vent tape" technology which allows the coffee to de-gas, but prevents exposure to oxygen.
Our beans are roasted daily in our eco-friendly Loring Smart Roaster. We seek out the best green coffee beans from all over the world so we needed a roaster to match. And we found it in the Loring Smart Roaster S35 Kestrel. With the S35, we get the flexibility of roasting anywhere from 77 lbs large batch roasts to 15 lb custom roasts. The built in touch screen control panel allows our roastmaster to customize and save every roast profile to ensure your coffee is consistent cup after cup. This convection air roaster protects the natural flavors by allowing very little oxygen into the roast chamber and letting the clean, natural taste of the beans shine through.
